COVID-19 Considerations
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, and in consideration of evolving U.S. federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and guidance, Empty Vessel continues to update and create new guidance, policies, and procedures for implementation during our events and outreaches.
The following efforts have been undertaken with the health and safety of our clients and volunteers in mind:
-
Face coverings: We now require volunteers and attendees to wear masks adhering to the latest Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendation that we all use face coverings while in public spaces.
-
We have implemented special procedures to encourage social distancing. We’re limiting the number of people who can enter an event at one time to comply with various state and local ordinances restricting capacity.
-
We engage leadership and volunteers with temperature checks during events: During this uncertain time, a leader or volunteer who is unable to serve or uncomfortable serving due to COVID-19 will stay home.
